PACKING | Festival Must-Haves

I just landed in sunny Palm Springs to kick off my festival season covering Coachella on behalf of Herbal Essences Body Wash. I have to admit that I am pretty bad at packing, I always leave it to the last minute and just throw a bunch of stuff in bag (half of it I never wear). This time, I tried to pre-plan and wanted to share a couple must-haves:

Sunglasses: I am showing my favorite RayBan Clubmasters (mine are prescription), but in truth I brought 5 pairs, they are a must at an outside concert! Plus, sunglasses always complete an outfit. Nails: You HAVE to have festive nails for a festival, right? Obsessed with these nail wraps! Panama Hat: This hat is a life saver, I try to keep my face out of the sun at all time (no wrinkles!) and the wide brim Panama style hat keeps me covered while adding a little style to my look. Scarf: I always like to bring along a light weight scarf and tie it on to the strap of my bag because it serves three proposes: 1. You can lay it out to sit on 2. Use it to shield your shoulders from the blazing sun 3. Cover up as the sun goes down and desert temperatures drop. Swimsuit bag: Found this the other day, and think it’s brilliant. You are often hopping between pool parties and the festival, so carry this lined bag to throw your damp swim suit in to protect everything else from getting wet! Slip-ons: My feet get pretty dinged up hopping around in the crowd, so a pair of fun slip-on will protect your toes. Body Wash: Last year, we were stuck in a sand storm one day, and got filthy! I packed my Herbal Essences Body Wash to get fresh and clean after a weekend in the desert. A necessary daily escape!
