I’ve often talked with other moms about how friendship change with motherhood. Your schedule looks a bit different, perhaps, than it did before kids. Things you had in common with close friends….might not be common to you anymore.

There is this great thing about motherhood that we should rejoice about! This common thread – motherhood – can unite us and bring out other areas in which we can relate.

This common thread is what the MomCon, happening November 14-15 here in Pittsburgh, is all about.

It is a discussion.

It is a place for questions.

It’s a place for encouragement and inspiration.

It’s a place to be challenged in your goals as a mom and as a woman.

I’m really excited to be attending my first MomCon conference in just a few weeks. The speakers cover such a vast array of topics, ages, and stories.

What am I hoping to get out of it?

Stories of success and failure.

Discussions on time and technology.

Inspiration from seasoned mothers and women.

Encouragement from challenges others have faced.

Unity in the common struggles we face.
