Daily Uniform: Equipment Blouses

Fashionable women who have an identifiable look like Emmanuelle Alt are style icons to many of us. These daily uniforms, as I like to think of them, look chic and easy to others and surely would make getting dressed for work or such in the morning easier.
In the attempt to pair down my wardrobe, I've been thinking about what would my daily uniform be? An Equipment blouse, tailored blazer, black skinny jeans and comfortable booties or d'orsay flats.

The cornerstone of my go-to work look is by far a button-up blouse from Equipment, as you can see in past outfit posts (here and here). Cotton or silk, the cuts of Equipment button-ups have enough of a masculine edge to make even floral patterns look like they belong on a boss. Currently I'm loving both their tropical inspired prints and their stripes ( I just picked up this palm print), but solid silk shirts are a great wardrobe staple to have as well. Of course while I daydream of an edited closet filled with luxe classics, I wouldn't mind adding an Equipment cashmere sweater or two;)
