Color Crush: Petal Pink

Last winter pink coats were the cover-up trend of choice among the fashion elite, and this fall to the joy of the ballerina in every woman, pink has permeated all aspects of dress. Pastels for fall go against the age old traditions of welcoming in the changing color of leaves with berry and jewel tones, but they are a refreshing change in hue.
From ice pink jumpsuits to petal pink dresses, what makes this unexpected fall shade work is by keeping it in a sophisticated tone (i.e. not bubble gum pink) and applying it to current clothing shape. Take a cue from the fashionistas at the New York Fashion Week spring 2015 shows, and pair petal pink with black and white to create a modern look.
