Tasty Tuesday: Easy Chicken Bruschetta

I'm not ever going to claim to be someone who loves to cook unless something changes. However, what I do love is finding recipes that are better for me and my family. So, as I do that I want to share that with all of you who may have stumbled upon my blog. My recipe for today is Easy Chicken Brushetta. This recipe is not only healthy, but super easy and family friendly too! My inspiration comes from the Chalean Extreme eating guide. I recently starting looking to it for inspiration since I am restarting Chalean Extreme to tone up and get my strength training in. Anyway, I forgot how many great recipes are in there! It is kind of great that Chalean Extreme comes with such an awesoe meal plan on top of the workouts. Alright, enough take already huh? This version of the recipe is for 1 so just multipy it by how many people you have. Here's the recipe….

Easy Chicken Bruschetta

Ingredients:

5 oz chicken breast (lean)

1 tsp onion powder

1 twp chili powder

1 plum tomato diced

1 tsp olive oil

2 cups steamed green beans

salt and pepper to tast

Directions:

Season chicken with onion and chili powder. Grill or broil until cooked (about 5 minutes per side). To make the brushetta, combine tomatoes, basil, and minced garlic and season with salt and papper. Top the chicken with the bruschetta and serv with the steamed green beans.
