So they wanted to enhance that experience by adding Place Pins. Place Pins allow people and businesses to add location information such a map, address, phone number, etc. to a Pin.

So, what are they, how do you turn them on, and how can you use them for your business?

How to turn it on?

From any of your boards, click on Edit Board and then toggle the “Add a map?” to Yes.

Once you turn it on, you can add a map to any pin on that board by clicking the icon, or…

And these are just some companies that have come up with creative ways to use Place Pins. When I think of Place Pins I think of a Wanderlust campaign for a coffee shop listing the best places for coffee beans, or maybe a tech company like Microsoft or IBM that has multiple locations around the world, creating a board called XX around the world and listing all of the offices with Place Pins. Or what about a nonprofit doing a scavenger hunt?

So many ideas and possibilities. What will you use Place Pins for?
