Minimalism with a twist please, Barman. That's shaken, not stirred!
Or so I imagine is how Amy Smilovic likes her cocktails. The dynamic designer behind NY-based label Tibi has a thing for the understated, but her urban girl will never fail to draw every eye in that bar. Girls and boys, alike. Which, in the world of fashion, is no mean feat, especially for those with a penchant for tomboyish attitude and tent-like silhouettes, but who still plan on finding a husband in the next three years and a half (I'm working a tight schedule here!).
The carefree-spirited lineup of origami pleats, raw fringing and artisanal tassels strewn over the Spring-Summer lineup were a testament to this impeccable attention to detail; and the symphony of loose-fitting looks were music to the ear of each and every gamine aficionado in that room.
The low-key Londoner in me gave a silent standing ovation and vowed to play this sure-to-be-a-hit tune all summer long.
