JAG VET INTE VAD JAG GÖR

Although I really don't like getting my photo taken, I was somehow tricked into appearing in few Kinfolk stories this year...

Here I am just casually watering some plants in my No. 6 buckle boots. I've worn those boots to death for the past several years and they're still in top-notch shape -- one of my best ever purchases. I'm lucky to have bought them before they changed the style, too -- the newer version is much narrower and strangely lightweight -- somehow they don't seem as sturdy or well-made.

Next I'm in the forest foraging for some pine needles in my APC parka. It's basically the perfect parka -- water resistant, hooded, lightweight, and the ideal neutral color, somewhere between khaki and army green. I've worn it so much, though, that I'm quite sick of for the time being. I've been eyeing this one by Apiece Apart for awhile now...

Now I'm having a tea party in my wool APC waffle cardigan. I've worn this quite a bit this past winter, too. I like it well enough, but the fit is a bit off -- it looks too fitted and slim-cut when buttoned up all the way, which is how I like to wear my cardigans -- the cut is too feminine somehow, and I hate feminine clothing.

Last but not least, I'm hanging out in an apron worn over my boyfriend's Saturdays Surf NYC shirt -- one of my favorite shirts in the world. When I'm too lazy to get dressed, I dig this out of Thomas's side of the closet and wear it with Acne jeans, Dieppa oxfords and some lipstick and feel nicer and more like myself than in anything else I own.
