Around LA

My family and I had a great time in and around Los Angeles, not only doing the theme parks but just walking around the streets and driving around some of the fancy suburbs in the hopes of spotting a celebrity, however with no luck. Venice beach was pretty cool but a lot different from what I was expecting - a lot more touristy than I had thought. Rodeo Drive was a beautiful street and it would have been so much fun to actually shop there instead of just pressing myself up against the glass and breathing heavily at all the beautiful pieces I was seeing. We did the Hollywood Hills walk behind the Hollywood sign, and walked Hollywood Boulevard checking out the Walk of Fame as well as the Chinese Theatre celebrity hand/foot prints. We also went to the Melrose Trading Post Flea Market which was great fun but way overpriced! It made me miss my local markets where people don't mind negotiating on prices and know what their stuff is actually worth.
