Femme Boulevard: Season Appropriate Look

So you see… the members of Femme Boulevard are thrown all round the world and we get different seasons. So we decided to go ahead to do season appropriate looks, wherever we are. I am in Malaysia, a tropical country. It’s hot and humid all year round, sometimes we get more rain, sometimes we get more sun. Does it mean I’m stuck with summery look my entire life? Heck no! I like my nudes, brights and vamps. I like variety and let me just say it again, I’ve NEVER been good with makeup rules.

For this, I decided to show you how different lipsticks can take you from season to season wherever you are. 1 look, 4 BOLD lipsticks for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Sounds good? Well, I thought it was a good idea anyway Here are the products used:

Basically, I used the browns in the UD 15 Anniversary Palette on my eyes. For blush, I used Burberry Light Glow Peony Blush for Spring, Fall and Winter, and I used NARS Orgasm for Summer. For lips, I used Estee Lauder Pure Color High Intensity Lip Lacquer 06 Melting Sun (orange for Summer), Bobbi Brown Art Stick Bright Raspberry (pink for Spring), Dior Addict Extreme Black Tie and Dior Gloss Ensorcelante (vamp for Fall), and lastly, Guerlain Luxure (red for Winter. Heck, red is for all seasons, but red is good to add some life to the cold). Here are the swatches for your reference. L –> R: Melting Sun, Bright Raspberry, Black Tie, Ensorcelante, Luxure.

And here I am, girl of all seasons. LOL! For the eyes, you can always add more bronze for summer, a dash of pink for spring, reddish browns / burgundy for fall and some pale gold for winter. Or, go mostly nude like what I did here, make the brows more defined and it goes with all lip colours

Please check out what the rest of my buddies have in store for you. Joey can’t join us because she’s under the weather, so let’s wish her well. I hope you enjoyed this! What is your go to look for each season?

xoxo Lily
