Melbourne screen printing textile studio
Ink & Spindle, run by designers Lara Cameron and Tegan Rose, recently launched a
brand new website for their business, and I've been having a lot of fun playing with its fancy new customising feature. The new custom-ordering system allows customers to take Ink & Spindle designs and apply their own colourways on screen. You simply pick a design you like, choose your base fabric and then choose the colours you like. What a nifty idea! Alternatively, you can choose from a bunch of ready-made designs.
Lara and Tegan were able to bring this new project to fruition partly thanks to an AusIndustry TCF grant, and the site also features a bunch of lovely new photographs taken by
Sean Fennessy. I think it all looks great, and it's so wonderful to see small Melbourne creative businesses grow. I wish them the best of luck with it!
