The July 2014 Lacquer Cabinet by Nailtini is curated by guest mixologist, beauty editor Melissa Foss. A portion of all proceeds from the Melissa Foss for Nailtini collection will benefit Animal Haven, which is an NYC-based non-profit that finds homes for abandoned cats and dogs throughout the tri-state area. The names of the nail polishes in this collection – Adopt-Aperitif, Hair of the Dog and Purr-fect Fizz – are inspired by Animal Haven.
Each card introduces you to the collection and also offers a “Tip Jar” which gives you ideas for mixing the polishes that were sent. In this case, combining finishes and textures is recommended. Two empty bottles are provided for “frankening” but you can also layer sheerer shades on top of more saturated shades.
