DC has certainly had an amazingly beautiful and colorful autumn this year! I have to say it might just be the best I’ve experienced in the 5 years I’ve been here. The bright backdrop has provided amazing pops of color for my clients and you really couldn’t ask for a better setting. This beautiful and fun family took advantage of a chilly but gorgeously sunny afternoon in the Bishop’s Garden at the National Cathedral as the sun was setting to capture their happy togetherness. We had the perfect light and fiery red trees to get their big blue eyes to shine, and it certainly wasn’t a challenge getting them to laugh and cuddle. It’s so fun to photograph fun families like these, happiness is contagious and I’m always filled with more joy after sessions like these
