Skin, Hair and Lip Saving Products For Winter

To start this post – happy new year! And a new year can only mean one thing, we’ve braved a few bitter mornings but chances are, the worst is still to come. Cue the ultra-moisturising products to keep our skin, hair and lips in tip-top condition as the cold and central heating take their toll – and on that note, I’ve plucked out my winter saviours to share with you.

Hair

I’ve tried multiple conditioners to try and keep my hair shiny and moisturised but not weigh my hair. I decided to give Tresemme ago since they had a promotion on their Keratin smooth conditioner (bargain hunter), and it’s perfect. I’m not a huge fan of the bottle as getting the last bits out the bottom is a nightmare, but my hair is really manageable, and feels great.

Skin

Simple Replenishing rich moisturiser is great for every day use (I also use with the simple toner before hand) twice a day to stop my skin drying out.

For the shower, Palmolive ultra moistursation shower milk is great giving all your skin a lovely glow.

It smells gorgeous and it works like a treat, need I say any more? You guessed it, Soap and Glory. I use the heel genius (designed for your feet, but I find it works great on for your hands as it’s really thick and stops any nasty dry skin). A must have.

Lips

A great balm for everyday is a handbag essential. I love the Body Shop’s born lippy in a gorgeous bright pink colour. Easy to apply whenever you need a top up – no cracked lips here.

Immune System

I though I’d add this one in, there’s no doubt a lot of bugs have been going around, from flu to full on viruses. With it being winter, we obviously get less sunlight as we clamber indoors to keep warm, reducing our Vitamin C intake. I take one small tablet of Vitamin C and Zinc from boots every day, so far so good. I hope this has inspired a few helpful products this winter, roll on summer!
