These Doors

When I first arrived in Paris, which seems like ages ago now – even though it’s really not – I couldn’t help but be in awe of all the doors. Different colours, shapes, so much history, a bunch of different designs, patterns and details caught my attention every single second and I could rarely make it down a street without stopping for photos. Today I stop less often, which is a shame (although perhaps a good thing for my friends since I’m not running late all the time due to gawking at random doors) since they really are incredibly beautiful. Even though I’m getting used to calling Paris my home, I hope I never ever get used to all this beauty around me. Too cheesy? I know. But also absolutely true.
