Birthday Breakfast

Starting the morning of my birthday with French toast at Ladurée has apparently become somewhat of a tradition by now and I have to admit that it might be one of my favourite ones that I’ve made for myself over here in Paris so far. If there’s any day during the year you’re allowed to start your morning with these luscious French toasts, made from French brioche, it’s on your birthday (I’m saying this as though I never have them otherwise, which is a complete lie, just so you know).

During the last couple of days I’ve been kept buys with birthday celebrations (thanks again to everyone who made my day so very special), doggie walks in the forest, hot chocolate dates and celebrating dear friends who’s gotten engaged. It’s quite hard to start up your laptop and get back to proper work after a weekend like this one but fortunately Friday, and my first ever wedding, is just around the corner!
