NYFW Street Style: Day 1 (Black & White!) (Brent Taalur Ramsey)

As Day 1 of New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 has come to an end and we’re currently underway with the shows and events of Day 2, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the more major moments from yesterday. With what we’ve seen on the streets so far, as photographed by Andrew Werner, yesterday was the day for making strong first impressions, and these glitzy fashi-razzi were definitely serving up a helping of tasty trends.

We mentioned earlier today how Andrew spotted many show-goers wearing bold reds, but there was another intrepid trend going on: black and white. From striped sweaters to paneled dresses, here’s a look we can’t wait to sport! (We already have lots of black, as any typical New Yorker might.)
