Fractals of the Week: The Wondrous Weirdness of Wallpaper

G’day. Now that I’m finally getting this blog a bit closer to its intended topic matter with recent posts (but I’ll keep up posting varied content too), I’m featuring here some recently generated wallpaper by way of Mandelbulber. I’m including two images here, each in two different pixel sizes for differently sized backgrounds, one of each in 1680×1050 and one of each in 1600×900 pixels. Not that it makes any difference on a retina screen…

These were fun, as they allowed me time to explore making new parameter sets from earlier, less promising ones. No, I’ll not be deleting parameter files for quite a while, not until I fully realize their possibilities and no longer need them. Then it will be time to create new ones.

I’m getting out of making really large images for wall hangings and exhibition displays except for commission pieces, and will focus mostly on digital wallpaper and smaller images suitable for small objects.

These wallpapers are free for use, as long as attribution is given if used for online display on your site. I’m taking requests for new images, and if any shown in this series of posts interests you, let me know using the contact information on this site’s About page!

Egads! I’m late in updating it by three days, on all my blogs. I’ll have to get to it NOW! And remember, with these images, click to enlargify :-)
