Beauty Mark: My Nails Walk the Deborah Lippmann Mani-Cam Runway
Moment of truth: I can be a pretty self-conscious person. It’s a flaw of mine; I’m pretty self-conscious about how self-conscious I am. When I was asked by the Deborah Lippmann team to walk my nails down the runway backstage at New York Fashion Week, I balked for a second. Though it wasn’t the runway, it was Lippmann’s Mani-Cam runway, and I just wasn’t sure if my nails could walk the walk. I’d truly never walked my nails before. Self-consciousness, enabled.

I mean, could my nails walk sexy? Or confident? Could they strike a pose? Could they high kick? Strut? Slide? Side step? Could they twirl? Bow? Dance?
Truthfully, they could barely put one nail in front of the other…but man oh man, I did I have a great time trying to get them to become the Gisele Bundchen of finger-walking (or, more like Kate Moss as they are kind of short…sorry Kate!).

Naturally, the Deborah Lippmann mani-cam captured all the shenanigans. You can find me prancing at the 0:20 mark! I do believe I threw in a high kick. Woot!
