The One piece beachwear vibe (I love green inspiration)

There is no specific reason why I like one piece beachwear.

In fact, almost always I wear a bikini, but every year at this point I enter the loop of the endless search for the perfect costume.

Let’s not forget that the U.S. journalist Diana Vreeland has repeatedly stressed that the famous two-pieces is “the most important thing since the invention of the atomic bomb” and that now each of us have dozens of them.

I like to make it a matter of style. A vintage style that recalls the bathing beauties of the 50s, obviously reinterpreted in a modern key.

More original, less approved and far more sophisticated. You can wear it directly with shorts, an ethnic statement necklace, a pair of leather flats and the inevitable panama hat over your eyes.

Maybe in black that definitely has a timeless allure.

Or coral color with a flounce that has a lot of flirty and feminine.

Or with stripes, because we don’t ever get enough, you know.

These are my choices.

Non esiste un motivo specifico per il quale mi piacciono i costumi interi.

In realtà indosso quasi sempre bikini, ma ogni anno a questo punto entro nel loop interminabile della ricerca del costume perfetto.

Non dimentichiamoci infatti che la giornalista statunitense Diana Vreeland ha più volte sottolineato che il famoso due pezzi è “la cosa più importante dall’invenzione della bomba atomica” e che ormai ognuno di noi ne possiede a decine.

Mi piace farne una questione di stile. Uno stile vintage che richiama le bellezze al bagno degli anni ’50, ovviamente reinterpretato in chiave moderna.

Più originale, meno omologato e decisamente più sofisticato. Da indossare direttamente con gli shorts, una collana etnica, un paio di sandali in cuoio e l’immancabile panama abbassato sugli occhi.

Magari nella versione nera che dà sicuramente una allure senza tempo.

Oppure color corallo con una balza che ha molto di civettuolo e femminile.

Oppure a righe, perché non ne abbiamo mai abbastanza, si sa.

Queste le mie scelte.
