@PhysiciansFormula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Illuminating Bronzing Veil Review #bronzer

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Illuminating Bronzing Veil $14 – CVS / Drugstores

Whew, that is a long name!
The Happy Booster line claims it can provide you happiness every time you use it. Each item is infused with the scent of sweet violets mimicking the effect of endorphins and it is supposed to help protect the skin from environmental stress.

I own several items from the Happy Booster line. I love the hot pink packaging, the cute heart design and the scent is very pleasant. It’s not too strong but slightly floral. It disappears upon use of the product but is a nice addition.

The bronzing veil comes in a hot pink twist off container, built in mirror, cosmetic puff, mini cheek brush and a variety of different colored heart shaped pearls.

The heart shaped pearls come in 2 different shades and are about the size of a dime.
They do have some width to the pearl and once used the heart starts to crumble a bit.

I believe for most people this bronzing veil would be used as a glowy highlighter verses a bronzer. It would be too light to provide contour or shading. I tend to apply this as a subtle highlighter using my own fan brush. I found the brush that was included to be too scratchy and the puff unable to control where the product is deposited. There is plenty of pearls in the product so this would last for a quite some time.

I love the packaging and I think the heart pearls are so dang cute! However, this is a no-go product for me both as highlighter and as bronzer. The color tends to be orangey-gold with flecks of gold particles. I find that the powder was hard to apply and it tends to be a patchy formula. The powder is hard and flecks of gold don’t look flattering on my skin.

So as much as I loved the concept of this veil, I ended up returning it as I didn’t find it worked with my taste and not worth the $14.

If you are interested in purchasing items from this line, I would say check out the blushes as they tend to be smooth and very nice. I really liked the Happy Booster blush in Warm and in Rose.
