I like my foundation to look and feel like skin. Something that is lightweight but strong enough to cover any redness, dullness or skin tone imperfections.

My skin tone is fairly combination with dry patches, oily bits and normal pieces too. Every once in a while I’ll have a blemish but overall my skin is pretty good. I range from light-medium to medium or whatever that means. In terms of application, I like to wear my foundation with a sheer application topped off with some face powder.

Simply, I will not tolerate “cake face” and thus after rigorous testing, all these foundations meet my criteria. I hope you enjoy them too!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation (53)
It does have a light fruity floral scent upon application but fades quickly.
I love how the packaging is designed with a easy pump.
The coverage is light-medium, lasting about 6-7 hours on me.
Note: This foundation is the lightest out of the brunch.

Covergirl Natureluxe SPF 10 (325 – sandstone
I personally really like Covergirl foundations. I found that their color match me perfectly.
This packaging is a easy squeeze tub.
The coverage is medium and lasts all day on me so 8hrs
Note: The color does lean pinker than the other foundations.

MyFaceCosmetics mymix (Fair 02) - this is a travel size portion
I got this in Beauty Army box and it’s my current go to foundation. This is a mini-size but OMG! It last so long, I’ve been using it for maybe 3 months and still got some left. I’m definitely going to buy the full size.
The packaging is a simple squeeze tub.
The coverage is light-med and lasts all day on me so 8hrs .
Note: This is a very LIQUIDY foundation, you only need a bit and color is very neutral.

Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2 in 1 Foundation Base (142 medium beige)
Can you love a foundation because it smells wonderful? Well…I do. This foundation has the most pleasant scent that leans a bit floral. I love using it because I love the scent but with that being said, it is a good foundation. It’s hydrating.
Packaging is a nice pump with a clear tube.
I find the coverage to be light and last about 5-6 hours on me.
Note: I would recommend using powder on top to keep it lasting longer if you are more oily as the foundation is the least long-lasting of the brunch on me and tends to get a bit oily later on.

Sleek Be Beautiful Blemish Balm SPF 15 (802 Light)
Sleek makes the best BB cream I have tried yet! It does oxidize once applied.
The package is a plastic squeeze tube.
The foundation is full coverage, hydrating and last all day 8hrs
Note: This is the darkest of the foundation bunch.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation (160 Fresh Beige)
This gives a very natural appearance and I do like the color.
The package is a glass bottle. I really hate this packaging because it’s hard to control the amount of product that dispenses. There’s no stopper or pump.
The foundation is medium to full coverage and lasts all day 8hrs
