Tula Jewelry | My Ring!

My wedding ring is a long story. Here is a brief snyopsis of the tale. Rick and I spent a year and a lot of money on our custom designed and coordinating wedding rings. The whole process was a mess and I would never taint another persons business, so I will not be sharing the name. We were told the rings would take only a couple of months, instead we got the rings as Rick was heading to our wedding venue (they were many months late), my ring ended up not looking like what we had planned, discussed, agreed to amongst many many meetings, but in all I grew to love it. Shortly after I started to get bad rashes which would worsen to my whole finger in throbbing pain. Slowly, I stopped wearing it all together (even after getting a hypoallergenic coating). Apparently, splurging on the more expensive white gold was not the best decision.

You can see a photo of our wedding rings here.

A year later and, admittedly some tears, I decided I would seek out a new ring. Best decision.

I worked with Marisa, the owner of Tula Jewelry. I loved her design aesthetic, her rings felt organic, simple yet unique and I like that her jewelry is handmade by her and has so much integrity for using quality materials and a low impact on the environment. When I first met her I tried on so many rings and adored so many I was not sure if It would be easy to narrow down exactly what I wanted. I really was so pleased and appreciative of how much Marisa listened to what my thoughts were and really felt like she was in my corner and making sure I had my dream ring (and had no horrible ring experience ever again).

Prior to getting engaged I fantasized about a ring that had turquoise, diamonds and rose gold all in one. Marisa searched for a pure turquoise stone that was also rose cut, which would give it more interest and brilliance. The turquoise is surrounded by pavé diamonds and set in a delicate rose gold band. I mean come on!! Stunning!

Rose gold is a very safe metal for people with allergies to metals and yes, I had no clue and no signs I had allergies to metals in the past.

So, this is my ring! My beloved wedding ring. Thank you ever so much Marisa!!
