One sunny Sunday a few weeks ago, we convinced associate editor Myriam to throw on a striped shirt, grab a bunch of heart-shaped balloons and traipse the city sidewalks of Williamsburg in the name of some good, old fashioned Valentine’s Day fun. (Well, it was technically in the name of a work project, but, hey, it was still fun.) In doing so, we learned two important things: 1.) Myriam is ridiculously photogenic and should maybe consider this modeling thing as a second career, and 2.) we kind of love everything about Valentine’s Day we thought we didn’t like. Flowers, getting dressed up, heart-shaped paraphernalia and the such. Turns out, it’s all about not taking things too seriously.
