5 Back To School Lunch Ideas and The Project Stash Link Party

When does school start near you? Our public schools have historically started approximately August 25th and then ended around the June 5th. Well, with the lovely proficiency tests that Ohio administers to determine how well our school are doing, the educational curriculum has slowly gone from teaching subjects to teaching to the tests. So, this has now shifted our school year to start a bit earlier and then end earlier (so that "teaching" ends with the proficiency test. So why am I telling you all this? Are you holding onto your hat? Today is our first day of school!

Yup, my youngest went off to school this morning but it wasn't just the start of any old school year. Today was the first day of his senior year! Wow, does time fly. Although my son is 17, he still packs his lunch. Yup, can you believe it? He has packed every day since 1st grade! Is your child(ren) a packed lunch eater too?
