Kindness and the Domino Effect - Character Development

Kindness “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32

I wanted to really emphasize this week that acts of kindness are contagious. They have a chain reaction - a domino effect. The first thing we did was watch a couple YouTube videos that really showed the concept that kindness can be spread to others. I have added them here so you can enjoy them with your own families. The first video is about the domino effect. The second video is more about how kind actions can really impact others. They are both inspiring.

After watching the videos and talking about them with the kids, we set up dominos. I explained that by doing kind acts we can inspire others to do the same. The more people are treated with kindness, the more they have it in their hearts to spread that kindness. We set up the dominos...believe me it took a while with these kids...and then were able to watch the chain reaction. I hope you are inspired to start the "Pay it Forward" chain. I hope my kids are inspired too.
