Finally I am a Gladiator!

For several years now I have been searching high and low for a pair of gladiator sandals to fit my size 12/13 feet that didn’t come up too short on my legs. Also a pair that wouldn’t break my piggy bank. I literally squealed with excitement when I spotted these on the Barefoot Tess site.

The footbed is perfect for my foot. I’m wearing a size 13. Just in case you are interested in grabbing a pair, they are available up to a size 15! They go up to the perfect height on my leg just below my knee. The straps going up the leg have elastic if you have a thicker leg/calf so they stretch and will move with you and the very top strap is adjustable, so you can loosen or tighten it as you need. You guys just don’t know how happy I am to finally have my hands on a pair of these gladiator sandals.

I decided to pair them in what I would call a bohemian type look that I think would be perfect for attending a summer concert. My black off the shoulder sweater was a clearance find from Alloy Apparel. My cut-off shorts were a DIY project from a old pair of Lucky Brand Jeans. I’m happy to say that I, Tanasha am finally a gladiator and I love it!
