Believe it or not, red (not pink) is my favorite color. However, as I scan my closet, I realize I really don't own many red pieces (though I have a drawer full of red lipsticks!). I got this red shirt on sale at J Crew a couple weeks ago, and felt like I finally filled a void. It's such a simple yet classic piece, that I know I will be able to create endless outfit pairings with it. First up, this simple combo, red shirt with a tube skirt that's got little red lipstick stain all over it. How adorable it that? I kept all other accessories muted, to ensure the little lipstick stain print pop against the red sweater. It's an outfit that make me smile :)
