"Goodbye World"

A mysterious mass text ripples its way across the country, triggering a crippling, apocalyptic cyber-attack, bringing together old friends. The unexpected reunion—abundant with revelry and remembrances, generously enhanced by organic wine and weed—is quickly undermined by the slights of the past, the spark of lingering flirtations and the threat of a locally grown new world order.

Adrian Grenier (Entourage), Gaby Hoffman (Girls), Ben McKenzie (Southland, The OC), Kerry Bishé (Argo, Newlyweds, Nice Guy Johnny), Caroline Dhavernas (Hannibal), Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi, How to Make it in America), Remy Nozik and Mark Webber (The End of Love, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) star as the group of old friends who ride out the supposed apocalypse. This movie reminds me so much of the great films that use fear mongering using group dynamics like The Mist and (the little known, much appreciated) Right at Your Door. Maybe it’ll have a similar twist ending??

Goodbye World will have a simultaneous US theatrical and VoD release on April 4th.
