Our Wedding Day: First Look

After getting ready it was time for Izzy to see me all dolled up for the first time. He'd gotten ready at our friends' cabin while I got ready in our cabin, so we decided that he would come to my cabin for the first look.
Our photographer Stephania decided that the best way to do the first look would be for Iz to wait at the bottom of the stairs to our cabin. Thank goodness I wasn't in heels, there were MANY stairs!
Stephania told me that she'd warned Iz that if he turned around before the right time he would absolutely ruin the pictures. She's a force to be reckoned with so I think he was a little scared!

I know tradition states that the first look should happen at the ceremony, but for us this was perfect. We planned on taking all of our couples pictures first and I wanted this private moment to see my soon to be husband.
The look on his face when he turned around was pretty amazing. All of Stephania's work made it perfect and it was the perfect first look for us.
