Shoe Love: ASOS Heeled Sandals

Recently I added these lovely heeled sandals to my shoe collection. My collection is quite large but surprisingly I didn’t own any light coloured heels so there was definitely a gap in my wardrobe. I have to say I’m loving this heeled sandal trend, I think they make your feet look so dainty and elegant so when I needed a new pair of shoes for a wedding, (as I was wearing a light coloured dress) I went to a few weeks back, I knew I wanted some in that particular style.

I knew I didn’t want any really high heels as I was going to be on my feet for a lot of the day and I hate when my feet hurt and I have to sit down so when I saw these cute Harlequin Heeled Sandals from ASOS I just knew I had to pick them up.

Firstly they’re not as shiny as in the pictures, I was a little bit worried that they would succumb to the same fate as the three dresses I ordered for the wedding (which promptly went straight back) but once I popped them on my feet I was in love. They’re really soft and comfortable, I was on my feet for 6 hours and I had little or no pain. Result! It also meant I could dance and walk with ease.

I’d definitely recommend you size down with these if you are between sizes as I found that with similar styles there was a huge gap between my heel and the back of the shoe, so I went for a 4 and they fitted comfortably.

I have to say I really love these shoes and I definitely think I’ll be cracking them out again for weddings, or any other occasion where I’m wearing light coloured outfit. These are definitely a mainstay in my shoe collection.
