MY SECRET RECIPE : PASTA


I may not be a connoisseur , nor a gourmet when it comes to food , i would rather call myself food lover. I not only love delicious food but even take interest in how is it made... I try making those dishes , few of them turn up good and sometimes few end up in the trash bin but it never stops me from experimenting :D:D So today I am sharing with you guys how i make pasta at home and i hope the recipe would make some sense (:P) and be convincing enough for you guys to try it :D WHAT YOU WILL NEED 1. Any kind of pasta ( I use whole wheat or normal penne) - 200 gm 2. Olive oil - 3 tablspoons 3. White pepper powder ( You can also use black pepper powder ) - 1.5 teaspoon 4. Shahi paneer masala ( Its the major secret ingredient ) - 1 teaspoon 5. Garlic - 3-4 cloves 6. Green chillies ( Green chillies are healthier compared to red chilli powder) - 2 7. Any vegetables of your choice ( I use 2 green bell peppers , half cup sweet corn , 1 carrot , 1 tomato , 15- 20 french beans ) 8. Salt to taste 9. Tomato sauce - 1 tablespoon 10. Fresh cream - 1 tablespoon 11. Oregano seasoning to Garnish 12. Parmesan cheese to garnish HOW TO COOK 1. Boil pasta in a vessel for 10-15 mins and make sure the vessel is big enough so that water doesnt spill during the process. 2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper powder , little salt and few drops of olive oil to the water and keep your eye on the pasta as it continues to boil and stir just enough to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom. 3. Meanwhile dice the vegetables and make chilli- garlic paste. 4. Take a frying pan , add 2-3 tblspoons of olive oil and after 1 min add the chilli garlic paste to it. 5. Add Salt , pepper powder and stir . Salt and pepper powder were added before also so keep a check on how much you add this time. 6. Now , saute the diced vegetables. 7. Add Shahi paneer masala , tomato sauce and cream , mix nicely with the vegetables. 8. Check if the pasta is soft and drain the water . 9. Now , add the pasta to the pan. 10. Mix well ,sprinkle the oregano seasoning and parmesan cheese and serve hot .
