MY CORNER First of all goodmorning and happy 15th of August! I am writing you in a rush before putting myself on the road to reach my parents in the mountains, because (as it often happens) I left this post blank until the very end. I am publishing this article today before gifting myself 3 days with no laptop, only me, a good book, my dogs and some Instagrams of course!... In a few words, finally I am going on vacations. I really did want to show you a first corner from my house, which is slowly taking shape. This is my little balcony on Milan, which has a wonderful sight on an alley of tall trees that reminds me of Paris so much. It definitely is my favorite spot in the house, where I like to hide, stay on my own with a cup of coffee, enjoying a moment of relax with myself. It is actually the only part of the house that I decided to leave as it is, without fixing it or painting it, because I love its "old" look, especially because the building where my apartment is located is actually pretty old and historical. I do love the contrast I created with the modern plastic / metal chair, the old vase I stole from my grandma and the banana leaves bucket. Welcome to my home, I hope you love it.

Intanto buongiorno e buon Ferragosto! Vi scrivo di tutta fretta prima di mettermi in strada per raggiungere i miei in montagna, perché (come succede spesso) ho lasciato questo post in bianco fino all'ultimo. Pubblico oggi prima di concedermi 3 giorni senza computer, solo io, un buon libro, i miei cani e qualche foto su Instagram ovviamente!... Insomma, finalmente una piccola vera vacanza. Ci tenevo però a mostrarvi i primi angoli di casa, un progetto che piano piano inizia a prendere forma. Questo è il mio piccolo balcone su Milano, che gode di una vista su un viale di piante altissime che mi ricorda Parigi. E' decisamente il mio angolo preferito di casa, dove mi piace rifugiarmi, stare da sola con una tazza di caffè, godermi un momento di pace tutto mio. In realtà è l'unico angolo di casa che ho deciso di non sistemare e ridipingere, perchè mi piace così com'è, un po' vissuto, il che -essendo il mio appartamento in un edificio d'epoca- non mi dispiace affatto. Adoro anzi il contrasto che ho creato utilizzando la sedia di plastica e acciaio, il vecchio vaso della pianta grassa rubato a mia nonna e il secchiello di banano intrecciato . Benvenuti a casa mia, spero vi piaccia.
