MMM: Pirum Parum Pear Print

The Elisabeth Dunker ‘Pirum Parum‘ print has to be one of the most popular nursery pictures out there.

I should know, I have it.

The phrase ‘Pirum Parum’ is taken from a Swedish nursery rhyme, along with ‘Apple Papple,’ but the image has become a modern day classic for One Fine Day, the brand who created it.

Its mix of soft greys, pale pink and white makes it a perfect pick for a girly nursery, yet the simplicity (and some say the sad little face ) of the print itself means it’s a bit cooler than most children’s room artwork.

I love to see how one item can be interpreted in different rooms, so here are a few Pirum Parum styling tricks I particularly love.
