MMM {wears} Why jumpsuits are taking over the world

Have jumpsuits become the urban girl’s answer to the LBD? On Saturday we met up with friends for dinner and all three girls – myself included – rocked up in a black jumpsuit.
I wore my Zara cropped version (shown here, out of stock now, but a similar one is here), Vanessa wore one from Asos (this one is similar) and Katie wore another one from Zara (similar here).
Each was a slightly different shape to flatter our varying body shapes – but it got me thinking that the jumpsuit has definitely become a new classic – it’s an easy, throw-on-with-anything wardrobe staple that works for any occasion.
To prove the point, we all wore different shoes too. Vanessa’s Nike trainers gave hers an urban vibe, Katie wore some gorgeous new & Other Stories heels and I wore my much-Instagrammed and old season pointed flats from Hobbs (but similar from Mango in the sale here and I love these from Boden).
The beauty of them is that they work on every shape. Curvier girls, choose a wrap-top half and wider leg trousers, while slimmer legs can go for more of a tailored style.
