{*New year, new soundtrack – we’ve got Big Tree on the brain}

2014 – where did you come from? Somehow the new year snuck up on us on this time around. Last thing we remember we were contemplating breaking out the pumpkin pie spice mid-October and now we’re chucking our christmas tree out onto the curb and singing Auld Lang Syne. Time flies when you’re hand beading hoops?

At any rate, this is already shaping up to be another great year for everyone here at Viv&Ingrid. Here are five things we’re looking forward to for 2014:

1. Going plum!

2. All night Pinterest binges on our favorite wedding blogs as one of our staffers closes out the last six months of planning for her June wedding!

3. The release of the This is Oakland book by one of our favorite people and publicist extraordinaire, Melissa Davis!

4. The planned early summer opening of Cholita Linda taqueria in Temescal.

5. The launch of our spring collection – Love, Kites and Other Short Stories. It is full to brimming with lovely little baubles and it all launches in February! We know, we know – that’s still a few weeks off. But in the meantime we’ve got a few photos of some newness that we can share with you - our Jet Pave Posts. Like our original Pave Posts, these updated versions are sweet with just the right amount of sleek, and we literally cannot bring ourselves to take them off. We just know you’ll all feel the same way about them.
