Crock-Pot 3 Ingredient Pot Roast


This is a super easy and quick recipe. There was a nice thick gravy left in the crock-pot. I made egg noodles to serve with the pot roast.

If you prefer not to use Canned Soup mix, Substitute a tablespoon of concentrated Beef Broth and a Cup of Water for the Can of Beef Broth. You can also make your own version of Cream of Mushroom soup using this recipe here Homemade Cream of Anything and just added chopped mushrooms to the crock-pot.

You can also make this a freezer meal for a quick and easy “dump and go” in the morning. Add the ingredients to a Gallon Ziploc and then freeze. If you freeze “flat” it makes for easier storage and for easier reading of the instructions on the front. I always use a black marker to write on the front of the ziploc bags and always include the recipe name, any additional ingredients to add and cooking time.

Ingredients

3 to 4 lb Pot Roast 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 Can Beef Broth (or 1 Tablespoon concentrated Beef broth and a Cup of Water)

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to crock-pot.
  2. Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
  3. Serve.
