Heaven Received a Special Angel

In Luke 23:43 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth. “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” This Bible verse will forever remain with me. On the evening of January 16, 2014, I was praying while reading my Bible Promises app and looking for comfort as my dear mother in-law was having a difficult time breathing after undergoing surgery for a broken hip. I read this verse just prior to getting the call from my husband telling me his mother, Dorothy Cella just passed on. Our Lord took her home. Oh how my heart cried out to all who knew Dot. She was one of the sweetness ladies I have ever met. Dot was so much more then an incredible mother in-law, she was a very dear friend. I will miss her so very much. My husband lost one of the greatest moms that ever lived. He called and talked with his mom everything night for all the years that we have been together. My son Michael lost a very special grandmother. He loved his Noni so much and always look up to her and enjoyed ever moment he ever spent with her.

There was truly no one like Dot and those who knew her were truly blessed. She will be deeply missed but our cherished memories and the images we have will always keep her spirit alive and she will forever remain in our hearts. Heaven received a very special angel the day the Lord called her to join him in Heaven. I can see you now Dot smiling when you met your Lord…she was one of the strongest Christian women I have ever met. RIP Dorothy Cella until we meet again we will forever hold you in our hearts.

I am so blessed that our family spent a lot of time with Dot this past year, wonderful memories were made. I am so happy for video tapes that we will cherish forever. When you lose someone special in your life you look back at the photos you have and reflect on all the good times you had together and you feel a bit of peace.

I made this video for our family to bring them comfort and peace at this very sad time. It’s been a tough couple of weeks but our Faith, good friends and family remaining close to each other has helped us as we are slowly beginning to accept that she is gone but not forgotten.

Please take a moment and watch this precious three minute video. I promise you will be touched as you see how this incredible lady, Dorothy Cella always wore a smile…always showed loved to those around her…always enjoyed life.
