Need Gorgeous Baby Shower Gifts? Meet Danish Brand Soft Gallery

Apparently being born is an event worth celebrating, because my baby really hauled in the loot on his arrival: That kid’s wardrobe is bigger than mine at this point—and I might even argue that it’s nicer. Here’s the thing about baby gifts, having given my fair share over the years. It’s the perfect opportunity to buy something that parents just aren’t likely to buy themselves, i.e., baby clothes that cost more than $10 (Max pretty much wears onesies from Carter’s that come in 5-packs). We got one particularly awesome care package from my old bosses, Kim France and Andrea Linett, who bought Max a few outfits as the always excellent YoYa in NYC. One was an owl-emblazoned onesie from Danish Brand Soft Gallery, hand-embroidered by female artisans in India. It is cool, and beautiful, and supports a great cause (all the pieces that benefit Danish Indian Childcare are marked with a special hangtag). Isn’t their stuff awesome?
