Tossing out another bag…

EDIT: oh my. I had no idea I forgot to proof -____- sorry for all the errors. I swear that is the first time I published something THAT bad OTL.

I really needed to toss out this bag. It has been hanging around for too long…and it was just really annoying to look at. Anyway, scheduling posts now…just finishing up a few edits on the pictures!

Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray

I think this is my 3rd one? I’m loosing track. My hair is incredibly unruly at the moment, so I have to iron down the ends. So having this is a major need for me. Plus I like the smell. There were coupons before, so I get these for about $1.50.

Pantene Ultimate 10 BB Crème

This is another must have for me at the moment. The ends are frizzy, and extremely dry. So I pump like 3 squirts and work on the lower half of the head. This goes on sale somewhat frequently, and sometimes there are coupons you can use. Need to wait for another sale.

Pantene Blowout Extend Dry Shampoo*

I hate you. I love dry shampoos, and I love Pantene generally. But I hate this bottle. I don’t know why, but this leaked in my bag despite being upright, and conveniently leaked all over my ancient iPod Touch (and effectively killed it, no amount of rice saved it). I was extremely pissed off for 2 weeks…so much that I stopped using Pantene for those two weeks lol. Yup, I guess I am vengeful in that way. Anyway, I’ve never had issues carrying around my other dry shampoos, so all I can say is that from now on, I will be putting this in a ziplock bag… *cuteye*

Pantene Silky Moisture Whip

Friend gave me her sample from the SampleSouce box.

Vidal Sassoon Moisture Shampoo

My skin doesn’t agree with VS, so I’ve cut down on using them. When I do use them, I use just the conditioner, on the ends, and in a bun. That way it is off my skin.

Tresemme Platinum Strength Shampoo

I have no idea where the conditioner went for this, but did smelt nice. Not enough to tell if it is any good though.

EOS Shave Cream

I love that this stuff stays where I place it. For the times where I am in a MAJOR rush. I rub this on instead of completely dry shaving (I know, I know…bad habit).

Origins Clean Energy

This is the last bottle I bought when I last went to the MAC Warehouse sale…ages ago. I have to say that I like using this one and the Bobbi Brown one. However, I don’t get tickets to go anymore, so I’ll have to resort to my second favourite, which is the Body Shop Shiso one.

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle

I’ trying to use up samples, as you can see, so I started using this with the Clarisonic. I didn’t like how it felt on my skin though.

Shiseido Lifting Foundation

Mom was addicted to this foundation before. She finally used it up.

Marcelle Essentials 1st Wrinkles Day Dream

Again, another sample size I had. I couldn’t tell if it did anything for wrinkles, but it did leave my skin smooth in the morning.

Qiora

Took my mom AGES to finish this up. -___- She replaced it back to the other pink Shiseido toner

Shiseido Benefiance Firming Massage Mask

Mom has always been a huge advocate of massaging the skin in her younger years. Now a days, she has adopted a more…”Meh” attitude. However it was thanks to the earlier years that she has the skin she does now. Anyway she liked using this…(yes…she loves Shiseido J)

Neutrogena*

I toted this in my everyday makeup bag. It was a little thick, but hands felt good. Plus I didn’t have to worry that my hands were too dry or too slimy when shaking hands with other people.

Aveeno Fresh Essentials Eye Roller*

This is pricey, but I liked how the roller ball felt on my under eye area in the mornings

EOS Lotion

I love these guys. Again a great size to tote about. I heard that they were at Dollarama for $2, so dear C tried hunting them down for me. She went to probably 10, and couldn’t find them. So thankful I have friends who are willing to keep me in mind :D Anyway, she did tell me that it is $2.50 at Target! Much better than the $4 price at SDM or Rexall.

The Body Shop Body Butter Olive

This is ancient, so I needed to toss it out. I might clean it out and use it for something else. This wasn’t too heavy, and the smell did surprise me.

Mederma

When this was finally released in Canada, I went immediately to pick it up. I scar really easily, and have a few on my legs I wanted to work on. I ended up buying two tubes of this. The problem is that it is pretty annoying in terms of application. You see, you put it on, but it creates a film like barrier for your skin. But you need to reapply quite frequently. But if you have certain pants on, that becomes a huge obstacle. It only helped a little on old scars…And these were scars I had had for like a decade, so I did notice a change. However, not enough I would ant to spend another $20 on.

CoverGirl Bombshell Volume*

The main reason I didn’t use this much, was because this was in Brown. Not enough definition for my eyes. Secondly, I didn’t see the point in using the double wand. I just didn’t see a difference…which is a shame as some of the other ladies see to love it.

CoverGirl Flamed Out Mascara*

One of the samples from Beauty United. I like it, but have to use the Marcelle Raincoat Mascara as this isn’t waterproof

NYC Big Bold Curl*

I got this from Influenster, but the wand it just too big for me to use comfortably…

Revlon Lash Potion

Ah good stuff. Just not in the summer. Then I experience smudging by the end of about 6 hours.

LAncome Definicils Mascara

Was a sample, but it dried out before I got to use it. No loss there as it isn’t waterproof anyway

Fairy Drops Volume Burst Waterproof Mascara

This is pricey, but it was my HG mascara to use last summer. Then I tried Loreal’s Miss Manga. It has replaced the Fairy Drops for my personal use. Farewell

Physicians Formula Eye Booster

I don’t know why I got this. It didn’t work for me. But I found it in my pencil cup…lol

MUFE Aqua Liner #15

This is grey with shimmer in it. I like the Aqua Liners, but they start breaking down towards the inner eye, after about 6 hours. Might be a monolid thing, not sure. The other thing was that the little plastic piece kept pulling off! This mean that it would bubble product, and dry ut faster…just a total pain. I think this is an isolated incident though, as the other two I am using don’t do that

GOSH Extreme Art Eyeliner

I bought a few of these when they were being cleared out. They were my fav before. But ass the skin changes, so does my HG products. Plus th brush was so narrow it got a little annoying
Face Atelier Lip Glaze in Flamingo

I tried using this up, but it was just too frosty to work with. It was a great formula though, but since I didn’t use it much, it stuck around for ages. This is just too ancient to keep around.

Nailene Black French Tip pen

I thought this was convenient. But alas, dried out too quick

Skinfood Foundation Brush

It broke, I have others that replaced it.

NYC Plumping Lip Gloss Big Bold*

Again the issue with this one was the over-sized doefoot. In order to apply to my lips, I had to redip like 4 times. As I get older, I get far lazier…

Burts Bees Rose Tinted Lip Balm

I loved using these since my first introduction back in 2011. But…they go bad pretty quick O____O. Which I guess I can understand because it is 100% natural…

Jergen’s Natural Glow

I actually used 3, but the other two I tossed. It is hard to remember to keep these things. Anyway I had an issue in the frist two applications where it was CRAZY streaky. I think it is better now…by the third time…but not sure if I would get it

ELF Blush in Flushed

$1, and I like the colour! So what more to say…

La Roche Posay Hydreane

Was a sample from the $5 sample kit last year, if I remember correctly. Was a great kit. I’ve heard they were out again, but haven’t seen them in the stores that go to -___-

Issey Miyake Leau Dissey

Okay…I have WAY too much perfume samples. So I have been really trying to use them up. This was one of the few I actually really liked…will have to consider buying in the future…

On another note…been extremely sad over the news of Robin Williams. As a kid, I looked forward to his movies. They were one of the sources of happiness for me, during a troublesome childhood time when kids were mean. I had just rewatched the Birdcage over the weekend…So RIP to a man who brought smiles to all our faces.

Products marked with an asterisks were samples that were provided free of charge for reviewing purposes
