Lake Qaraoun

Some weeks ago, I discovered the treasure of Lake Qaraoun (here) for the first time since years (I was there before but had forgotten its impressive beauty). We have friends from Masghara, a nice village at the lake that Fairuz once sang about (Ya Amar Machghara). Now I really envy them. What’s nicer than having a little house at such a nice and calm place. Plus, with the dam constructed there years ago, the region never experiences electricity cuts! Vraiment, what do you need more?.
