It’s the last game of the football season for our family. Our son spent most of it in a cast with a spiral fracture in his finger. I’m sure it was difficult to stand on the side lines practice after practice and not be able to participate.
When he finally got to play he did fantastic! He’s probably the tallest kid on the team and you can’t miss him out on the field. As I watch him out on the field I’m reminded how quickly his childhood is passing. Before I know it he will be graduating and leaving the nest. Until then I’m going to capture as many moments as I can. My husband captured this image and it reminded me of Friday Night Lights. To tell you the truth football makes me very nervous only because I don’t want him to get hurt.
Does your kid play football?
