Trouble Shooting a WP Theme

This is part two of the pingback notification problem. After all of the adjustments that we made in the first half Kristen was still not receiving notifications. She noticed that even though I linked to her site that there was still a problem with notifications.

These are the steps taken to trouble shoot the problem.

1. Were there enough ping sites in her list in the back end?
2. Were updates being caught in the spam folder?
3. Was the link used the proper url to get a pingback

My suggestions would be to create pages for either an About or Contact Page. She may want to select both pages and posts for trackbacks. Notifications are based on what people link too.

Overall this was a pesky problem but as it turns out it had an easy solution!
