I Miss You…
Almost a year has gone by since my last post. I can hardly believe it myself. So much has happened in the last year, it’s hard to know where to begin…so let me begin where I ended…October 2012…
If you recall from my last 6 month of posts, I was struggling to figure out what I REALLY wanted to do. My blog was feeling more like work and less fulfilling. I felt restless and knew there was something else out there for me, but I didn’t know what that was. I thought there was only one right thing and that there would be a day it was going to present itself to me.
Like on a silver platter.
I truly thought that I would have an epiphany. Or possible someone would come up to me and say, “Lina, I want you to head up our International Public Relations Division.” Poof, the Gods were going to make it happen, I just needed to be patient and wait for it.
I was delusional.
Looking back I can clearly see how many different options I had and any one of them could have worked or lead me to the “right” path. But, I was so damn in my head about making the wrong move, that I made no move.
Then came a conversation with a friend in August of 2012 that started everything…
And this:
with a whole lot of everyday life in between.
I thought I’d spend the next week catching you up and inviting you to follow the next part of this awesome adventure!
