Collegiate Style: Take10 X Clarks Shoes

This month, the Take10 girls have been challenged to style up a pair of shoes from British high street darlings, Clarks. Say ‘Clarks’ to anyone who went to primary school in the UK and you’ll likely get recounted nostalgic tales of last-minute back-to-school shoe purchasing; trying reeaal hard to convince your mum that those chunky 2-inch shoes are totes approps for stomping around the school courtyard in. Fast-forward 15 years and you may well find yourself pacing the store again to check those office-ready brogues aren’t pinching.

I think ‘school’ when it comes to dear Clarks so I went for a collegiate style outfit in shorts, preppy collar and tortoiseshell specs. More and more public school stripes are falling into my wardrobe and I’m happily rediscovering my khaki jackets – anyone else super excited for this whole school/varsity/collegiate resurgence this AW?! Bring on the long socks and cheerleader skirts!
