Pinspiration | Skirting the Issue
I grew up rocking an awesome tomboy uniform: checkered Umbros, beat up Sambas, and a t-shirt from a soccer tournament, Detroit sports franchise, or Hard Rock cafe. The phrase I will never wear a dress crossed my lips on more than one occasion.
Clearly, this was a phase.
Lately I’ve been obsessing over statement skirts in bright colors or fancy fabrics like sequins and tulle but have no idea where to wear them. Not exactly work appropriate, but I’m not sure it would fit in at the next gathering of my deviant friends, either. Beer stains and sequins do not mix, friends, and I hate going to the dry cleaner.
Do you dig a cool skirt and graphic tee as much as I do? Come to think of it, I should really pick up a new pair of Sambas, too.
