When seriously thinking about it, the world is an amazing place. Surely it can be expensive living on this Earth, especially during these rather strange times of economic and political uncertainty. However, being on this planet admittedly comes with a free trip around the sun.

Furthermore, with a little bit of effort and luck, other amazing places can be visited, too, for example Tokyo.

Tokyo is such a surprising city. Both to who as travelled already to Asian countries and to newbies. It is not comparable to any other city in the world since it is a humongous metropolis on one hand, and a completely livable place on the other.

Contrary to common beliefs, the air is clean and the city is quiet, thanks to the street traffic being sustainable. On top of that, public transport works like a dream!

Spending a week in Tokyo might be a good amount of time to get a first glimpse of what the city is about. Arm yourself with a pair of stylish walking shoes like the Leather Crown bi-colour hi-tops and explore the best city neighborhoods. Shibuya is famous for its crossing, said to be the busiest in Japan, and its appearance in the movie Lost in Translation. Shinjuku is one of the up and coming neighborhoods, but it still offers competitive prices for clean, modern and comfortable accommodations. Harajuku cannot be missed, not only for its tiny street of “treasures” (Takeshita Dori), but also because of the Meiji Jingu Shrine, a must see for tourists, where it is easy to spot traditional wedding celebrations, too! Fashion lovers cannot miss Omotesando Hills, where all the luxury fashion brands have sparked the architecture of the area with their stunning flagship stores.

When visiting this area it is advisable to wear a causal yet though thru outfit. For example pairing an Issey Miyake blouse with a simple, but effective Carven skirt, which will all look great with the sneakers.

Tokyo offers so much that a lifetime there would probably not be enough to experience everything, but this is the excitement of travels! Always leave something unseen behind, as to remind you to come back one day.

Quando ci si pensa davvero, il mondo é un posto incredibile. Certamente puó essere costoso, specialmente in questo periodo di incertezza economica e politica. Per riequilibrare i valori che a volte sfuggono pensando a certe cose, bisogna ricordarsi che vivere su questa terra include un viaggio gratis intorno al sole!

Inoltre con un pochino di sforzo personale, e certamente molta fortuna, si possono vedere anche altri posti strepitosi. Come per esempio Tokyo.

Tokyo é una cittá incredibilmente sorprendente. Sia per chi é giá stato in Asia, sia per coloro che la esplorano per la prima volta. Non é paragonabile a nessun altra cittá essendo una metropoli a dir poco maestosa, ma d’altro canto, una cittá assolutamente vivibile.

Passare una settimana a Tokyo é sicuramente un bell’inizio per un assaggio di ció che la cittá ha da offrire. Indossare comode scarpe basse come le Leather Crown bi-colour hi-tops é d’obbligo per esplorare i quartieri migliori. Shibuya é famoso per il suo attraveramento pedonale, essendo il piú grande e trafficato in Giappone, nonché famoso grazie al film Lost in Translation. Shinjuku é uno dei quartieri che sta diventando sempre piú “hip”, ma é ancora un’ottima alternativa per un hotel carino e pulito che non costi troppo. Harajuku é imperdibile non solo per le famose Harajuku girls, ma anche per il Meiji Jingu Shrine e il parco circostante. Le amanti della moda non possono perdere Omotesando Hills, dove tutte le marche di lusso hanno contribuito con i loro negozi a realizzare un’area di interesse architettonico rinomata nel mondo.

Passeggiando in questa via é consigliabile indossare un look consono, per non sembrare i turisti piú riconoscibili in assoluto. Per esempio un bel top di Issey Miyake abbinato ad una gonna Carven (semplice ma di grande effetto). Entrambi faranno un figurone con le Leather Crown.

Tokyo offre talmente tanto che una vita intera probabilmente non sarebbe abbastanza per esplorare tutto. Eppure questo é proprio il bello del viaggiare, sempre lasciare indietro qualcosa che non si é visto, per poter ricordare a se stessi che in questi posti un giorno bisogna far ritorno
