Birthday Girl

I'm so excited that it's finally December! This month is my very favorite of the year -- and not just because it's my birthday month, but I just love love love all of the holiday festivities. My birthday seems to mark the beginning of all the celebrations and Ollie and I always do a weekend away to treat ourselves to some shopping and pampering in a nice hotel before the hectic season begins. This year we once again went to Seattle and made a long weekend of it. So now, on my actual birthday, I'm lounging around in my pjs, catching up on my blog reading and I think I might just have a Vampire Diaries Netflix Marathon. Perfect birthday if you ask me.

I borrowed this beautiful Party Skirt for the shoot and I sooo want one of my own now. How pretty is it? It would be the absolute perfect piece for all of the holiday parties.

I kept the accessories to a bare minimum because I think that the sequins add more than enough bling, but I decided to spice it up with a red lip to brighten my face and add a little something extra. I love a red lip for the holidays and think I will probably be rocking it a lot this season.
