Dearest friends,

A feature article was published in the state paper on Saturday about our attempts to save the orchard. The outpouring of comments, responses, and signatures to the petition are positive reminders that a good-hearted attempt can still touch and inspire people, strangers, to connect and band together in an effort to strengthen the voice of a cause. in this case, to keep these trees alive.

We continue to reach out like their blooming citrus branches, and the monsoon rains have arrived to help the cause.
