Miracle Cleanser by Aurelia Probiotic Skincare

I first came across this charming brand around March last year through social media conversation with fellow bloggers, a year and a half later, I attended a beauty conference and the founder was there as a keynote speaker, who was super nice, extremely clever and if I recall, before launching her brand, she was a bio-scientist (hope I got this right)..it was brilliant! I had noticed the brand had gained distribution with new stockists (Liberty, Net a Porter..) but I didn’t realise how much one woman’s business had grown so much within a year. I was so pleased for her.

So, although this is not the first time I am using this particular product, the Miracle Cleanser, I thought it was about time I paid it some lip service. Aurelia Probiotic Skincare combines science with nature and luxury ingredients….pretty special right? and of course, very clever, the tagline for the brand is ‘next-generation skincare’.

Basically, skin inflammation is the main cause of ageing, while nothing is wrong with ageing, we don’t want to accelerate it do we?

So, through “moderating molecules which mediate the body’s natural immune response, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare protects against skin ageing, regenerates cell metabolism, prevents cellular DNA damage, boosts hyaluronic acid tenfold and increases collagen synthesis by 140% leaving you with glowing radiant skin.” (Aureliaskincare.com)

At first, it took me a while to get used to a cream cleanser because I love balmy or oil cleansers such as Sarah Chapman and Shu Uemura but the more I use it, the more I like it. I still love my oil based cleansers because they remove my MAC Liquidlast liner instantly, whereas I have to thoroughly massage the Miracle Cleanser to lift the liner, I have made this procedure my daily few-minute-express-facial-massage, haha.

What I like most about using this product is how my skin absorbs all of the goodness from key ingredients such as Baobab (Omega rich super fruit), Mongongo Oil (rich in Vitamin E and fatty acids) and Kigelia Africana (used for its firming properties). After massaging the Miracle Cleanser into my skin, I use a damp flannel to remove make up and grime. It comes with a bamboo muslin cloth but it’s too thin for me, I prefer a flannel (old habits die hard as they say).

There are no synthetic fragrances, just the fresh and uplifting scents of essential oils such as Bergamot, Chamomile and Eucalyptus. I think this cleanser would be perfect for my friends Pippa and Sally who really struggle with skin care and always end up with sore, inflamed skin which feels uncomfortably tight, so this one is for you girls!

If you want to read more about the brand or watch some videos, head over to the website, which is really easy to navigate and has a of good reading and watching…

I really want to try the Eye Dew next, I want to see if it can really take off 5 years of age within 28 days.

Thanks for visiting.
